About Jenn
Jennifer Luxmore-Begin is a multi-disciplinary creative: beadwork, fabric, mixed media, collective art and music. She is a settler-Anishinaabe woman with and member of Mattagami First Nation. She works in a sustainable, ecoconscious way, using upcycled materials that infuse ancestral and honouring energy in her work. She is the creator of a lunar calendar called 13 Moons of Creation and was an Artist in Residence with Visual Arts Mississauga in 2025. Jenn is a sister in the Indigenous Women’s Collective, Grandmother’s Voice, Water Walker and founder of the artist collective: Creative Collective. She is a music educator in Peel and lives in the Credit River Watershed with her family.

Mixed Media
Jenn's teenage art dream was making collages and she is still creating with paper, textiles, mark making tools, and whatever "junk" she comes across. Jenn's focus is on sustainable, eco-conscious creation.
