13 Moons of Creation Beadwork

13 Moons of Creation pieces were created between October 2024 and January 2025. They were featured in the 2026 13 Moons of Creation Lunar Collection. They are beaded with intention and love, honouring each of the Anishinaabe moons. The turtle shares the teaching of how we understand time, and how the turtle's shell shows us the annual lunar cycle. All of the beads in this collection were gifted to Jenn. The textiles used for the base of each moon are upcycled and the birchbark was harvested on Robson-Huron Treaty territory.
